Overview
Emotional DMG is a charade card game designed for young adults. It's premise is to guess a word while other players try to express it when maintaining a given emotion.
The game is sold across selected Lekia stores in Sweden. (SOLD OUT)

Game Design
I designed and developed a card game as a part of Futuregames's study curriculum and quickly developed it into something bigger than an assignment. I have recruited a team of three artist to help me draw the art style for the game and got in contact with Lekia to sell my game.

REFLECTION
Designing a card game has served as a good practice to understand how to convey and explain rules to players. It taught me a lot about players agency and how to make a game appealing, both through the art style as well as the fun aspect. I learned a lot about replay value and creating a design which has infinite potential for expansion. I took a lot of inspiration from games such as cards against humanity and the concept of game cards expansions.
